Our Mission
PARTNERS IN CARING
The Victim Chaplain Association deploys trained volunteers in cooperation with police, fire, ambulance personnel, the Red Cross, FEMA, faith-based agencies and other emergency responders. Associates provide on-site spiritual care and support services to victims of natural disasters (fire, flood, earthquake, etc.). We also serve as chaplains at Kern Medical, the local county hospital.
Our ministry services include reassuring presence, prayer, help with crisis management and assistance in connecting with family members, faith communities, or other service providers. We also offer water and other basic emergency supplies.
All of our services are provided free of charge or obligation to anyone who requests them, including victims, their families, and first responders.
